Terms of service

Last updated: 16 October 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using secondaryschool.ie, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Description of service

secondaryschool.ie lists Irish secondary schools, with details published by the Department of Education and open night, admission and cost details published by schools.

3. Dates and costs

We collect dates and costs from schools' own websites and show where each one came from. Schools change their plans, so always confirm a date or a cost with the school before you rely on it. We're not responsible for a missed application or open night.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose, submit false or misleading information, interfere with the site, or scrape it in a way that affects other visitors.

5. Advertising

Ads are sold to local businesses and labelled as sponsored. We don't sell placements to schools or let anyone pay to change how a school is described.

6. Intellectual property

The site, its design and features are protected by intellectual property laws. You keep ownership of anything you send us, and give us permission to use it to keep school pages accurate.

7. Limitation of liability

secondaryschool.ie is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. School details come from public sources and may be out of date.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
